Some say that they shot him in the end but I disagree. I believe they were shooting at the treeline as they were doing before they found him. I’ve gone through the last few frames over and over. I can’t see any bullet impacts on the dirt next to him or anything. If I find a longer version I’ll post it and/or make corrections.

One has to wonder what thoughts are racing through his mind. Does he regret participating in this fool’s errand of a war? I often wonder about that when I see footage like this.
